Serious Wahala for Oyiboland
By Edmund Smith-Asante
I flew in a similar Turkish Boeing aircraft back home |
It is 7:39 am European Time and I don't know how to describe how I am
feeling right now.
Should I be angry or happy?
Well I guess a mixture of the two, since I am finally leaving for home
after about a week's sojourn in Europe on official duty. As a matter of fact I
am writing this piece tens of thousands of miles above sea level, on board Turkish flight TK 1942 from Brussels to
Istanbul, where I would connect a flight to Accra.

Two hours to Cotonou
By Edmund Smith-Asante
This is Cotonou |
At approximately 9:30pm on Sunday,
the Air Cote d’Ivoire aircraft, flight HF522, took off at the Kotoka
International Airport, bound for Cotonou, Benin.
Being my first time to the Benin
capital, I naturally looked forward to arriving in that country just next door,
and knew it was going to be a very short flight.
